Our Symbol
Just like our 'namesake' super hero, the THOR brand engenders strength, wisdom and power; a sense of being “heavy duty” yet wise and controlled.
The THOR logo reflects these attributes, while adding the impression of modern electronics and technology to the mix.
The use of bold uppercase letters in solid black underscores the strength and durability of the THOR product range. The ‘T’, ‘H’ and ‘R’ gravitate around the lighter “O” symbol which draws attention to power and light – the base elements of laser technology.
Base Font
The ‘T’, ‘H’ and ‘R’ are based on the 'Franklin Gothic Heavy' font with a horizontal expansion of 140%. |

Larger "O"
As seen below, the "O" symbol is 26% larger than the ‘T’, ‘H’ and ‘R’ letters. When centred the "O" symbol extends 13% above and below the letters. |

Tag Line
The logo includes the tagline “The Future Of Medicine.” In most cases, this tagline should always appear as part of the THOR logo. The logo and the brand line work together as a unit. You may resize the signature as a whole, but original proportions must be maintained. The tagline should be part of the image itself and not added as text, or using a separate font. |

Minimum Clear Space
The logo/tagline combination, and standalone logo must be separated from competing text and other graphics elements. The height of the "T" serves as a measurement for our minimum clear space requirement on all four sides. |

|
Minimum Size
To ensure legibility, the THOR logo must be at least 1.125" [28.6mm] wide in print, and 108 pixels at 72 dpi for Web, Email or interactive applications. There is no maximum size restriction. |

While our original logo used a different font and colour scheme, the base elements have always been present. The present logo shown above is likely to remain for many years to come.
