Official Copyright and Trademark Notices Use the Official Notices below in every instance where Copyright and Trademark notices are required. Generally, a Copyright notice should be placed in the footer of all of our promotional material, including presentions, posters, product brochures, and training ads, both online and in print. The Trademark Notice should be added to product manuals, Official THOR Copyright Notice Official THOR Trademark Notice Basic Rules for Proper THOR Trademark Use 1. If it is not otherwise clear from the material, include a reference to ownership of the mark. This is particularly important where the material bears the name of a third party, such as an advertisement by a licensee or customer. 2. A licensee of the THOR logo must use the appropriate TM symbol, as applicable, at the first and most prominent reference to the THOR Mark, or as soon as practicable thereafter. All headings, titles, and subtitles in printed materials that reference the THOR Mark should contain the appropriate symbol. 3. A licensee of the THOR Mark must never include the Mark in a hyphenated phrase. The THOR Mark must never be shortened or abbreviated. 4. A licensee of theTHOR Mark must capitalize "THOR". 5. A licensee of the THOR Mark must never adopt any logo, trademark, service mark, trade name, or other identification that is confusingly similar to the THOR Mark. 6. A licensee of the THOR Mark must never combine a Mark with licensee’s or a third party’s logo, trademark, service mark, trade name, or other identification. Combining the THOR Mark with identifications of others would confuse consumers as to which company is the source of the product or service. 7. A licensee of the THOR Mark must never use any Mark in any manner that expresses or might imply THOR’s affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, certification, or approval. 8. A licensee of theTHOR Mark must never use any Mark in a manner which would disparage THOR or its affiliates, or their products or services, or portray them in a negative light. 9. THOR reserves the right to object to unfair uses or misuses of theTHOR Mark or other violations of applicable law. 10. Always use the trademark in its proper form and take corrective action whenever improper use is detected. Improper use of a trademark can result in loss of trademark rights.
